Family-owned and operated, Grandfather Mountain Nursery Garden Center and Landscaping (GMNGCL) is the High Country’s oldest and wisest garden center, landscaping & landscape design company. We have been in business since 1976. We are true locals and know the area’s weather and atmospheric idiosyncrasies. This vast knowledge allows us to work in harmony with your landscape.

Our garden shop opened in 1986; our lines have expanded from the very basic to some very distinctive and rare plant offerings, as well as unique garden accessories. We provide a full range of residential landscaping and commercial landscaping services, including landscape design and installation, paver patios, stone patios, outdoor fire pits, fireplaces, retaining wall installation, masonry, excavation, and landscape construction services. GMNGCL’s creativity and expertise can provide a new way of looking at a site’s opportunities and eliminating its constraints.
